Fitness Diaries; My First 2 Weeks At SlimmingWorld



Hello My Lovelies :) x


   So this week I began slimming world, I really want to loose this left over baby weight and I know myself that I do not have ANY will power to do it myself so I need someone other than Stuart (an outsider if you like) to push me and I thought this could be a really big help. Plus I have been reading up on the success stories from SlimmingWorld and I am amazed!!.

   So I went to the 9.30 class near my mums house so she can look after max. I had to go to the class which takes around an hour and half and they go through everything with you, you sign up and you get weighed for your starting weight and you give your target weight etc.

   So I knew I was already in the 12st mark as I was 12st just before I went into labour with Max and it was not surprise when I stepped onto the scales and saw 12st 10lb :( which sucked but at least I was with someone (nicola our slimming world rep) that could help me.

My First Week:

   So I am not going to lie the first week I struggled big time, not to mention I was more focused on my new baby lol so it was a little daunting to have to measure everything and tbh I wasnt prepared with the right food and stuff so I knew when I went into my first weigh in that it wasnt going to be great. 
    
   So the following Friday I got weighed and I was 12st 10.5lb which was a 0.5lb gain which tbh I was upset but not too upset as I hadn't done any sun counting properly I done the obvious stuff of sweets and crisps etc. 

   Going away from this first weigh in it made me so determined to slowly get into this rather than jumping straight in because I know because of having to change my whole life for my baby boy I knew my mind would be mush when it comes to healthy eating and counting and measuring but I knew it had to be done :( 

My Second Week:

   So since Max was settling in more and getting more into a routine I was able to actually begin to slowly count my syns and read through my book that I got. I am amazed what you can eat and what you have to syn on lol. I bought myself a note book to keep a food diary and when I get a spare min I am writing down all of my food that I am eating so I can see if I am over synning and to keep my eating on track. 

   I went to my weigh in and I was 12st 9.5lb which means I lost 1lb which is amazing! I hadn't even been proper healthy as I haven't been able to get out to the shops for food! So I am so freaking happy. 


   If I keep this up like the second week I am bound to loose the weight and as I have said before there is no end date I just want to get to it when I get to my goal weight of 9st. 

   So I am fairly enjoying going to slimming world and I will defo be going back until I loose this weight :)
